Hannes Rossacher
Hannes Rossacher (born 16 October 1952, Steyr) is an Austrian film director and film producer. Rossacher has worked with Rudi Dolezal since 1976 in their production company DoRo Productions. His contributions to the ORF youth program " Ohne Maulkorb" were among his first major assignments. With the bankruptcy of DoRo Productions in 2003, Dolezal and Rossacher have separated and went their own ways. Steyr (; Central Bavarian: ''Steia'') is a statutory city, located in the Austrian federal state of Upper Austria. It is the administrative capital, though not part of Steyr-Land District. Steyr is Austria's 12th most populated town and the 3rd largest city in Upper Austria. The city has a long history as a manufacturing center and has given its name to several manufacturers headquartered there, such as the former Steyr-Daimler-Puch conglomerate and its successor Steyr Motors. Rudi Dolezal ( sl, Doležal, born 5 February 1958) is an Austrian film producer and film director best known for his music videos. He has directed and produced videos for artists such as Tom Waits, the Rolling Stones, Frank Zappa, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, Sandra Cretu and Whitney Houston. For his work in the music industry, he was nominated for two Grammy Awards. He is the recipient of three Romy Awards and two Rose d'Ors. ''Ohne Maulkorb'' (without a muzzle) was an Austrian children's TV series produced by Österreichischer Rundfunk that aired from 9 April 1967 until 1987 on ORF 2. It was originally a studio talk show that subsequently included current reports of the political and cultural affairs and youth culture. In the 1980s it discussed the newly emerging DJ phenomenon in New York City. Content The broadcasts included topics such as squatters, anti-nuclear activism (construction of a nuclear reactor in Zwentendorf was prevented by a referendum) and politically provocative art.
