Hannah Klugman
Hannah Klugman (born 18 February 2009) is a British professional tennis player. She has a career high singles ranking of 527 achieved on 1 July 2024. Early life The youngest of four girls, Klugman was brought up in SW19 and learned tennis at the Westside Club near Wimbledon Village. Her sister Alice is an England U18 field hockey international. Klugman's first tennis coach was Alison Taylor, wife of former Wimbledon semi-finalist Roger Taylor. She began training under Ben Haran from the age of nine. In late 2023, Klugman reiterated her desire to stay at Wimbledon High School to complete her GCSEs. However, she switched to online learning in the following month. Career Klugman has been coached by Ben Haran in Reeds Tennis School in Cobham since she was nine years old. Field Hockey
Field hockey is a team sport structured in standard hockey format, in which each team plays with ten outfield players and a goalkeeper. Teams must drive a round hockey ball by hitting it with a hockey stick towards the rival team's shooting circle and then into the goal. The match is won by the team that scores the most goals. Matches are played on grass, watered turf, artificial turf, synthetic field, or indoor boarded surface. The stick is made of wood, carbon fibre, fibreglass, or a combination of carbon fibre and fibreglass in different quantities. The stick has two sides; one rounded and one flat; only the flat face of the stick is allowed to progress the ball. Laura Samson (also known as Laura Samsonová; born 10 March 2008) is a Czech tennis player. Career Junior career A member of TK Sparta Prague, Samsonová won her first junior title as a 13 year-old at a J5 event in Prostějov in a October 2021, without dropping a set. It was her first junior-level event. She then won her second J5 event in November 2021 in Silla-Saledar in Spain, and reached the final in her third, in Montemar.
