The 2023 US Open was the 143rd edition of tennis' US Open and the fourth and final Grand Slam event of the year. It was held on outdoor hard courts at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City. Novak Djokovic and Iga Świątek were the men's and women's singles defending champions. Świątek lost to Jeļena Ostapenko in the fourth round, while Alcaraz lost to Daniil Medvedev in the semifinals.

The tournament will consist of both men's and women's singles and doubles draws, as both doubles draws will return to standard 64 players, as singles players will remain in standard 128 person format in each category.
