The Hangzhou–Taizhou high-speed railway is a high-speed railway in China. It was opened on 8 January 2022. Description The railway does not parallel any existing railway. The railway is the first privately funded Chinese high-speed railway, while a consortium led by Fosun Group provided 51% of the funds. Features Xiaobeishan tunnel, a long single-bore quadruple-track tunnel. The Hangzhou–Taizhou high-speed railway uses the inner two tracks. Dongming Tunnel is the longest high-speed railway tunnel in East China. Zhejiang ( or , ; , also romanized as Chekiang) is an eastern, coastal province of the People's Republic of China. Shaoxing North Railway Station
Shaoxingbei (Shaoxing North) railway station () is a railway station on the Hangzhou–Ningbo high-speed railway located in Yuecheng District, Shaoxing, Zhejiang, China. In the future, the station will be served by Line 1 of the Shaoxing Metro. History During construction, the station was sometimes called ''Shaoxing Keqiao railway station''. The name ''Shaoxing North'' was confirmed in August 2012. The station was opened on 1 July 2013. With the construction of the Hangzhou–Taizhou high-speed railway the station was expanded from the original four platforms to eight platforms. A new north-facing station building was also built. Wenling West Railway Station
Wenling ( Wenling dialect: Ueng-ling Zy ; ) is a coastal county-level city in the municipal region of Taizhou, in southeastern Zhejiang province, China. It borders Luqiao and Huangyan to the north, Yuhuan to the south, Yueqing to the west, looks out to the East China Sea to the east. Wenling locates on 28°22'N, 121°21'E, approximately south of Shanghai. Taizhou railway station () is a railway station in Jiaojiang District, Taizhou, Zhejiang, China. It is an intermediate stop on the Hangzhou–Taizhou high-speed railway. History It was known as Taizhou Central railway station during construction. It was renamed to Taizhou railway station on 25 June 2021, coinciding with the opening of the Jinhua–Taizhou railway and the renaming of the old Taizhou railway station to Taizhou West. Shangyu South Railway Station
Shangyu District () is a district of the prefecture-level city of Shaoxing in the northeast of Zhejiang province, China. At the 2010 census, its population in the built-up (''or metro'') area was 779,412, up from 722,523 in the 2000 census. Hangzhou South railway station () is a railway station located in the Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. History Xiaoshan railway station () opened in 1992. Xiaoshan station was renamed Hangzhou South station on January 1, 2010. The station closed for renovation work on July 1, 2013 when Hangzhou East railway station opened. Hangzhoudong (Hangzhou East) railway station () is a railway station located in Shangcheng District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang, People's Republic of China. Originally built as a small station serving the Shanghai-Kunming railway, it has been rebuilt as a high-speed rail hub, which became operational on 1 July 2013.
