Hanafugetsu
is a Japanese band formed in 2012. Consisting of lead vocalist Yuko Suzuhana, shakuhachi player Daisuke Kaminaga, and koto player Kiyoshi Ibukuro, the trio became the basis for the fusion metal band Wagakki Band. Wagakki Band
is a Japanese band that combines rock music with ''wagakki'' (traditional Japanese musical instruments) and ''shigin'' (Japanese poems reciting art). Their early songs were adapted from Vocaloid recordings but they have since written their own original music. Their music videos for the songs and have attracted millions of views on YouTube. Yuko Suzuhana
() is a Japanese singer, composer, pianist, and poet, best known as the leader of Wagakki Band. Biography At the age of three, Yuko Suzuhana began studying classical piano. She began studying Shigin and Kenshibu at the age of five. After graduating from Ibaraki Prefectural Mito Daini Senior High School, Suzuhana studied at the Tokyo College of Music. After working as pianist and lecturer in a piano class, she started singing in the classical pop unit Asty, formed with her classmates at the university. In 2011, Suzuhana won the grand prize in the Youth Division of the National Ginpo Concours sponsored by Nippon Columbia. In February 2012, Suzuhana co-founded the band Hanafugetsu with shakuhachi player Daisuke Kaminaga and koto player Kiyoshi Ibukuro. is a performance of reciting a Japanese poem or a Chinese poem read in Japanese, each poem ( ''shi'') usually chanted ( ''gin'') by an individual or in a group. Reciting can be done loudly before a large audience, softly to a few friends, or quietly to the reciter themselves. Each reciting is also termed ''gin''. The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Oricon originally published LP, CT, Cartridge and CD charts prior to the establishment of the Oricon Albums Chart on October 5, 1987. The Oricon Albums Chart's rankings are based on physical albums' sales. Oricon did not include download sales until its establishment of the Digital Albums Chart on November 19, 2016.
