Hamlagrøvatnet
Hamlagrøvatnet is a lake on the border of the municipalities of Voss and Kvam in Vestland county, Norway. The lake is the largest lake in all of Hordaland county. The lake is located about southeast of the village of Dalekvam and about south of the village of Evanger. The lake sits at the eastern end of the Bergsdalen valley and it is regulated at elevation of above sea level. The lake is a reservoir on the river Bergsdalselvi which has four hydroelectric power stations on it. The lake is surrounded by many holiday cottages. Voss () is a municipality and a traditional district in Vestland county, Norway. The administrative center of the municipality is the village of Vossevangen. Other villages include Bolstadøyri, Borstrondi, Evanger, Kvitheim, Mjølfjell, Oppheim, Stalheim, and Vinje. The municipality is the 35th largest by area of Norway's 356 municipalities. Kvam is a municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The municipality is located along the Hardangerfjorden in the traditional district of Hardanger. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Norheimsund. Other larger settlements in the municipality include Øystese, Bru, Ålvik, Tørvikbygd, Omastranda, and Mundheim. Bergsdalen
Bergsdalen is a river valley in Vaksdal Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The long valley begins at the lake Hamlagrøvatnet on the border of the municipalities of Vaksdal, Voss, and Kvam. The valley then runs to the northwest along the river Bergsdalselvi all the way to the village of Dale where the valley ends. This valley was historically part of the main route between the city of Bergen and Voss, until the European route E16 highway was built to the north of the valley. The Bergsdalen valley now is home to a significant number of mountain cabins and there is especially a lot of tourist activity in the winter. There are about 100 year-round residents of the valley. Vestland
Vestland is a county in Norway established on 1 January 2020. The county is located in Western Norway and it is centred around the city of Bergen, Norway's second largest city. The administrative centre of the county is the city of Bergen, where the executive and political leadership is based, but the County Governor is based in Hermansverk. The county is one of two counties in Norway that have Nynorsk as their official written language form (the others are neutral as to which form people use). Dale () or Dalekvam is the administrative centre of Vaksdal municipality, in Vestland county, Norway. The village lies at the western end of the Bergsdalen valley, about northeast of the village of Stanghelle on the shore of the Veafjorden. Evanger (village)
Evanger is a village in the municipality of Voss in Vestland county, Norway. The village lies in western Voss at the eastern end of the lake Evangervatnet where the river Vosso empties into the lake. Evanger sits about west of the municipal centre of Vossevangen. History Evanger was the administrative centre of the old municipality of Evanger, which existed from 1885 until 1964.
