Wolayita Zone
Wolayita or Wolaita is an administrative zone in Ethiopia. It is named for the Welayta people, whose homeland is in the zone. Wolayita is bordered on the south by Gamo Gofa, on the west by the Omo River which separates it from Dawro, on the northwest by Kembata Tembaro, on the north by Hadiya, on the northeast by the Oromia Region, on the east by the Bilate River which separates it from Sidama Region, and on the south east by the Lake Abaya which separates it from Oromia Region. The administrative centre of Wolayita is Sodo. Other major towns are Areka, Boditi, Tebela, Bele, Gesuba, Gununo, Bedessa and Dimtu. Wolayita has of all-weather roads and of dry-weather roads, for an average road density of 187 kilometres per 1000 square kilometres. Its highest point is Mount Damota (2738 meters). Kindo Didaye
Kindo Didaye is one of the woredas in the South Ethiopia Regional State of Ethiopia. It is a Part of the Wolayita Zone. Kindo Didaye is bordered on the south by the Gamo Zone, on the west by the Dawro Zone, on the northeast by Kindo Koysha, and on the east by Offa and Kawo Koysha woredas. Kindo Didaye was separated from Offa woreda and Kindo Koysha woreda in 1998 E.C. Demographics Based on the 2019 population projection conducted by the CSA, this woreda has a total population of 122,061, of whom 47,864 are men and 49,702 women; 1,427 or 1.46% of its population are urban dwellers. Geʽez
Geez (; ' , and sometimes referred to in scholarly literature as Classical Ethiopic) is an ancient Ethiopian Semitic language. The language originates from what is now northern Ethiopia and Eritrea. Today, Geez is used as the main liturgical language of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo Church, the Ethiopian Catholic Church and Eritrean Catholic Church, and the Beta Israel Jewish community.
