Haksal
Kim Hyo-jong (), better known by Haksal, is a retired professional South Korean ''Overwatch'' player. During his career, he was best known for his play on the damage hero Genji and support hero Brigitte. He played in the Overwatch League (OWL) for the Vancouver Titans and New York Excelsior and in Overwatch Apex and Overwatch Contenders for team RunAway. Kim began his professional ''Overwatch'' career playing for RunAway in Overwatch Apex, a tournament series in South Korea. He played in all four seasons of the Apex and was named the most valuable player in its fourth season. After Apex dissolved, he competed with RunAway in Overwatch Contenders Korea, winning a championship in Season 2 of 2018. Park signed with the Titans for the 2019 season of the Overwatch League. 2019 Overwatch League Grand Finals
The 2019 Overwatch League Grand Finals was the second championship series of the Overwatch League (OWL), which took place on September 29, 2019. The series was the conclusion of the 2019 Overwatch League playoffs and was played between the Vancouver Titans and San Francisco Shock at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Vancouver qualified for the season playoffs as the top seed and defeated the Seoul Dynasty, Los Angeles Gladiators, and New York Excelsior all in the upper bracket of the playoffs. 2019 Vancouver Titans Season
The 2019 Vancouver Titans season was the first season of Vancouver Titans's existence in the Overwatch League as one of eight expansion franchises added for the 2019 season. Vancouver started the season with a 4–0 sweep over the Shanghai Dragons. The team ended Stage 1 with a perfect 7–0 record and went on to win the Stage 1 Finals against the San Francisco Shock. The Titans posted another perfect 7–0 record in Stage 2; however, they lost in the Stage 2 Finals against the Shock, which ended their Overwatch League record 19-game win streak (including playoffs). The team continued their regular season dominance by winning an Overwatch League record 19 consecutive games that was not snapped until on June 23, when the Los Angeles Valiant defeated the Titans. The Titans compete in the Overwatch League (OWL) as a member of the league's West region. The New York Excelsior (often stylized as NYXL) is an American professional ''Overwatch'' esports team based in New York City, New York. The Excelsior compete in the Overwatch League (OWL) as a member of the league's West region. Founded in 2017, the team is one of twelve founding members of the Overwatch League and is the first professional esports team to represent the city of New York. The franchise is owned by NYXL, which was founded under the name Andbox by venture capital fund Sterling.VC, supported by Sterling Equities. The 2020 Overwatch League All-Star Games refer to two Overwatch League (OWL) All-Star Games – one from each region of the 2020 season. All-Stars Asia took place on September 26, 2020, while All-Stars North America took place on October 3, 2020. Each game was the culmination of the each region's 2020 All-Star Weekend. Asia Region All-Star Game The 2020 All-Stars Asia Game followed a different format than that of previous years. While the first map followed the standard six-versus-six format, each team selected their opponents team composition for the second map. 2019 Overwatch League Season
The 2019 Overwatch League season was the second season of the Overwatch League (OWL), an esport based on the video game ''Overwatch''. The 2020 Vancouver Titans season was the second season of Vancouver Titans's existence in the Overwatch League. The team entered the season as the defending Pacific Conference (previously titled Pacific Division) champions looking to bounce back after their 2019 Grand Finals loss to the San Francisco Shock. 2020 New York Excelsior Season
The 2020 New York Excelsior season was the third season of New York Excelsior's (NYXL) existence in the Overwatch League and their first under head coach Jeong "imt" Yong-cheol. New York planned to host two homestand weekends in the 2020 season at the Hammerstein Ballroom in the Manhattan Center. While the first homestand took place, all other homestand events were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2019 Overwatch League All-Star Game was the second Overwatch League (OWL) All-Star Game that matched the top players in the Atlantic Division (ATL) against those in the Pacific Division (PAC). The game was played on May 16, 2019 at Blizzard Arena in Burbank, California and was the culmination of the league's 2019 All-Star Weekend.
