Aksel Hagen
Aksel Hagen is a Norwegian politician and member of the Storting, representing the Socialist Left Party (SV) in the county of Oppland. He was elected to parliament following the 2009 parliamentary election by winning Oppland's leveling seat. He sits on the Standing Committee on Education, Research and Church Affairs. (Stortinget's biography) Hagen has a doctoral degree from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. He was a member of the Lillehammer municipality council between 1991 and 2003, deputy county mayor of Oppland from 2003 to 2007, and a member of the Oppland county council from 2007 until his election to parliament. Hagen was deputy leader of SV's local Oppland chapter between 1998 and 2000, before become the chapter's leader between 2000 and 2004. Hagen is cohabitant with Turid Thomassen, a politician of Red. Edward Hagen (Minnesota Politician)
Edward Hagen (March 21, 1875 – November 5, 1950) was an American farmer, educator, and politician. Hagen was born on a farm in Big Bend Township, Chippewa County, Minnesota and went to the Chippewa County public schools. He graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Agriculture in 1895. Hagen lived in Milan, Minnesota with his wife and family. He was a farmer and taught at the Chippewa County Rural Schools. Hagen served as the Big Bend Township justice of the peace, assessor, and supervisor. Hermann August Hagen
Hermann August Hagen (30 May 1817 – 9 November 1893) was a German entomologist who specialised in Neuroptera and Odonata. He had established himself as one of Europe's preeminent entomologists by 1867 when he accepted a position at Harvard University to curate the Museum of Comparative Zoology. In 1870 he became the first entomologist in the United States to hold the formal title, Professor of Entomology. Biography Hagen was born 30 May 1817 in Königsberg, Prussia. Harold Hagen
Harold Christian Hagen (November 10, 1901 – March 19, 1957) was a Minnesota politician. He was a Farmer-Laborite and then a Republican, serving the ninth district from 1943 to 1955. Born in Crookston, Minnesota, he was Lutheran of Norwegian ancestry. He attended St. Olaf College and then began as a publisher and editor of a Norwegian language newspaper and publisher of the '' Polk County Leader'' in Crookston. He later served as secretary to Representative Richard T. Buckler. Harlan Francis Hagen (October 8, 1914 – November 25, 1990) was an American lawyer and World War II veteran who served as a United States representative from California. A member of the Democratic Party, he served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1953 to 1967, representing the 14th and 18th districts of California. Early life and education Born in Lawton, North Dakota, Hagen graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School in Long Beach, California. Halvor Reini Hagen (born February 4, 1947) is a former American football offensive tackle in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, and Buffalo Bills. He was drafted in the third round of the 1969 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at Weber State University. Early years Hagen was born in Oslo, Norway. He played football for only one season at Ballard High School (Seattle, Washington). He then enrolled and played one season of college football at Shoreline Community College, before transferring to Weber State. Gulbrand Torsteinson Hagen (March 20, 1865 – February 25, 1919) was an American newspaper editor, writer and photographer in Minnesota and North Dakota at the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th. Biography G. T. Hagen was born at Eggedal parish in Sigdal, Buskerud, Norway and immigrated at age 17 to the United States in 1882. He continued his education at the Minnesota Lutheran Seminary and Institute in Willmar, Minnesota. Gottfried Hagen (1230–1299) was town clerk of Cologne and author of the Cologne ''Reimchronik'' (''Rhymed Chronicle'').
