Hadrianus Sinaga
Hadrianus Sinaga (June 15, 1912 – July 11, 1981) is the eighth minister of health of Indonesia. He was also the member of the People's Representative Council from 1950 until 1954. He was also the third general secretary of the Indonesian Christian Party. He was a surgeon, and established of the Medical Faculty of the Christian University of Indonesia. Early life Hadrianus Sinaga was born in Hatoguan, Samosir Island, Dutch East Indies, on June 15, 1912. He went to the Dutch East Indies Doctors' School in Surabaya, and finished his studies in 1942. Career After finishing his studies, he became a doctor in Panyabungan, South Tapanuli, and as the Head of Health Affairs of the Tapanuli Residency, the head of health affairs of the Defense Council of Tapanuli, and the head of health affairs of the People's Safety Forces. Johannes Leimena
Johannes Leimena (Often abbreviated as J. Leimana; 6 March 1905 – 29 March 1977), more colloquially referred to as Om Jo, was an Indonesian politician, physician, and national hero. He was one of the longest-serving government ministers in Indonesia, and was the longest-serving under President Sukarno. He filled the roles of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health. An Ambonese Christian, he served in the People's Representative Council and the Constitutional Assembly during the 1950's, and was the chairman of the Indonesian Christian Party from 1951 until 1960. Leimena was born in Ambon, Maluku, but he grew up in Cimahi and later Batavia (today Jakarta). The Provisional People's Representative Council ( id, Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Sementara) was the first Indonesian legislature under the Provisional Constitution of 1950. The council was formed after the transition of Indonesia to a unitary state on 17 August 1950. The council initially consisted of 236 members, with 213 members remaining prior to the dissolution of the council in 1956. The Central Indonesian National Committee, ( id, Komite Nasional Indonesia Pusat) or KNIP, was a body appointed to assist the president of the newly independent Indonesia. Originally purely advisory, it later gained assumed legislative functions. South Tapanuli Regency
South Tapanuli (Tapanuli Selatan in Indonesian Language, abbreviated Tapsel) is a regency in North Sumatra, Indonesia. Its seat is the town of Sipirok. This regency was originally very large and contained thousands of towns and villages, including the city of Padang Sidempuan. The areas that have separated from South Tapanuli Regency are the new regencies of Mandailing Natal, Padang Lawas Utara and Padang Lawas, all lying to the south-east of the residual South Tapanuli Regency, plus the city (''kota'') of Padang Sidempuan. After the division, the regency seat moved to from Padang Sidempuan to Sipirok.
