Hacoda, also known as Martha, is an unincorporated community in Geneva County, Alabama, United States. Geneva County is a county located in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Alabama. As of the 2020 census, the population was 26,659. Its county seat is Geneva. The county was named after its county seat, which in turn was named after Geneva, New York which was named after Geneva, Switzerland, by Walter H. Yonge, an early town resident and Swiss native. It was created on January 15, 1995, in an area code split from area code 205. and was the first new area code in Alabama since the implementation of area codes in 1947. State Route 54 (SR 54) is a state highway in the extreme southern part of the U.S. state of Alabama.
