Hacettepe
Hacettepe University is a leading state university in Ankara, Turkey. It was established on 8 July 1967. It is ranked first among the Turkish universities by URAP in 2021. The university has two main campuses. The first campus is in the old town of Ankara and hosts the Medical Centre, and the second one, Beytepe Campus is from the city centre. The Beytepe Campus covers of green land and woodland, and hosts the faculties of Economic and Administrative Sciences, Law, Education, Engineering, Fine Arts, Letters, and Science. The Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory ( tr, Hacettepe Üniversitesi Ankara Devlet Konservatuvarı), the first conservatory to be founded in the Republic of Turkey, was established in 1936 by a directive of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The conservatory is part of Hacettepe University. History School of Music Teachers (1924–1936) The roots of the Ankara State Conservatory goes to the School of Music Teachers ( ota, Mûsikî Mu'allim Mektebi), which was established in Ankara by the order of President Mustafa Kemal Atatürk under the Ministry of Education to train music teachers for secondary schools in 1924 right after the proclamation of the Republic. The students were educated in besides music and French language also in other lessons such as Turkish language, history and biology. UÄŸur Erdener
Uğur Erdener (born June 15, 1950) is a Turkish physician specialized in ophthalmology and professor at the Hacettepe University, Ankara. He is currently a member of the International Olympic Committee and President of the National Olympic Committee of Turkey. Early years Uğur Erdener was born on 25 June 1950 in Trabzon. Upon completion of his elementary school education in Van, he attended the secondary school in Bandırma and graduated from the Gazi High School in Ankara. He enrolled in the School of Medicine of the Hacettepe University. After graduating with his medical degree in 1977, he completed a residency in Ophthalmology at Hacettepe University. Tekin Bingöl
Tekin Bingöl (born 1 August 1955) is a Turkish politician who serves as the Deputy Leader of the Republican People's Party responsible for political organisation since 8 May 2014. He has served as a Member of Parliament for Ankara's second electoral district since 7 June 2015, elected at the June 2015 general election. He previously served as an MP for Ankara's second electoral district between 2007 and 2011.
