HRESH developed by the Armenian ProMAQ group. The HRESH was first unveiled at the ArmHiTec-2018 exhibition with several other loitering munitions, constituting the first-known loitering munitions produced in Armenia. One Israeli news outlet noted the drone's resemblance to the Israeli Hero-30 drone.

The Armed Forces of Armenia ( hy, Հայաստանի զինված ուժեր, Hayastani zinvats uzher), sometimes referred to as the Armenian Army ( hy, Հայկական Բանակ, Haykakan Banak), is the national military of Armenia. It consists of personnel branches under the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, which can be divided into two general branches: the Ground Forces, and the Air Force and Air Defense Forces.
