H2O (Puerto Rican Band)
H2O was a Puerto Rican boy band that had some success during the early 1990s. The band had some hits such as "Nena" and "Si Esto No Es Amor", which they sang on Raul Velasco's show Siempre en Domingo in Mexico, and others. The band was active from 1991 to 1995, releasing 5 albums for CBS Records, Sony Music, Fonovisa and Italian music company Leader. ''Siempre en Domingo'' (translated ''Always on Sunday'') is a Mexican variety show created and hosted by Raúl Velasco. The show aired on Televisa from December 14, 1969 until April 19, 1998 when Velasco retired. ''Siempre en Domingo'' became one of the most important, influential and popular TV shows in Latin America. Velasco's popular trademark, "patada de la suerte" (lucky kick), sponsored many artists that every Sunday performed in his popular TV show. Many English-speaking artists also performed on the show. Menudo (band)
Menudo is a Puerto Rican boy band that was formed in Puerto Rico by producer Edgardo Díaz. Referred to as the "Most Iconic Latino Pop Music Band", Menudo has been ranked as one of the Biggest Boy Bands of All Time by several publications, including '' Billboard'', ''Us Weekly'', '' Seventeen'', and '' Teen Vogue'', being the only Latin band on their lists. The band had several radio hits during its course. They acted in a television film (1979's ''Leyenda de Amor'') and two feature films, ''Una aventura llamada Menudo'' and '' Menudo: La Película'', in a telenovela named "Quiero Ser" and a television mini-series named ''Panchito y Arturo''. Los Chicos De Puerto Rico
Los Chicos (also known as Los Chicos de Puerto Rico) were a Puerto Rican boy band that was popular in Puerto Rico, South America and in Central America during the early to mid 1980s, which was created to rival Menudo's success. The band was created by Eric Laboy in 1978, with the name Encuentro. Due to a political campaign slogan, the name was changed to Los Chicos, which translates to ''The Kids'' by Mr. Carlos Alfonso Ramirez who took ownership and managed the boy band. They enjoyed huge success during the early 1980s, under the new management particularly in Puerto Rico South America and Central America.
