''Gypsy Road'' is the fifth studio album by Canadian country music artist Dean Brody. It was released on April 21, 2015 via Open Road Recordings. The first single, "Upside Down", was released on February 9. The album's second single, " Bring Down the House", was released to Canadian country radio on May 25, 2015. The album's third single, " Love Would Be Enough", was released to Canadian country radio on October 23, 2015. The album's fourth single, "Monterey", was released to Canadian country radio on March 18, 2016. Content Two of the album's songs were previously recorded by other artists: "Hillbilly" by Billy Currington on his second studio album, ''Doin' Somethin' Right'', and "As Country as She Gets" by Joe Nichols for his 2005 album, '' III''. Dean Brody
Dean Brody (born August 12, 1975) is a Canadian country music artist who has won 16 CCMA Awards and 2 JUNO Awards. Originally signed to Broken Bow Records in 2008, Brody made his debut later that year with the single "Brothers". This song, a Top 40 country hit in the US, was the first single from his self-titled debut album, released in 2009 under the production of Matt Rovey. In 2010, Brody was signed to Open Road Recordings and released his second album, '' Trail in Life''. In 2012, he released his third album, ''Dirt'', earning the 2012 CCMA Album of the Year award and a 2013 Juno nomination for Country Album of the Year. Brett Jones is an American singer, songwriter, and music publisher from Warm Springs, Georgia, United States, working in country music. He has had over one hundred songs recorded, including fourteen top ten hits and five number one hits. Jones signed a publishing deal with a company owned by country music singer Ronnie Milsap. His first top twenty hit came in 1995 with Confederate Railroad’s “When and Where ''When and Where'' is the third studio album by the American country music band Confederate Railroad. The Canadian Hot 100 is a music industry record chart in Canada for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. The Canadian Hot 100 was launched on the issue dated March 31, 2007, and is currently the standard record chart in Canada; a new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by ''Billboard'' on Tuesdays but post-dated to the following Saturday. The chart is similar to ''Billboard''s US-based Hot 100 in that it combines physical and digital sales as measured by Nielsen SoundScan, streaming activity data provided by online music sources, and radio airplay as measured by Broadcast Data Systems. Canada's radio airplay is the result of monitoring more than 100 stations representing rock, country, adult contemporary and Top 40 genres. "Trail in Life" is a song written and recorded by Canadian country music artist Dean Brody. It was released in October 2010 as the third single to his 2010 album ''Trail in Life''. The song reached number 81 on the Canadian Hot 100 in early 2011. Content The narrator is a man who wonders what happened to his teenage mother who gave him up for adoption. Wendell Lee Mobley (born in Celina, Ohio) is an American country music songwriter. He has written No. 1 hits for Rascal Flatts and Kenny Chesney. He began playing in local bands before moving to Nashville, Tennessee, where he found a job playing guitar for Jack Greene and Alabama (American band), Alabama. Tony Martin is a country music songwriter who has had fifteen number-one hits as a songwriter. Among his compositions are "Third Rock from the Sun" by Joe Diffie, "Just to See You Smile" by Tim McGraw, " You Look Good in My Shirt" by Keith Urban, and "No Place That Far" by Sara Evans. Martin received a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University (BYU) in 1986. His degree emphasized journalism, he was a reporter for "The Daily Journal" in Chicago after he graduated from BYU.
