Gymnastics At The 2004 Summer Olympics – Women's Artistic Team All-around
These are the results of the women's artistic team all-around competition, one of six events for female competitors of the artistic gymnastics discipline contested in the gymnastics at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. The qualification and final rounds took place on August 15 and August 17 at the Olympic Indoor Hall. The scoring for the team event had been changed again since the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. The new format only 3 athletes from each national team competed on each piece of apparatus, and all scores counted towards the final combined total at the end. Oana Mihaela Ban (born 11 January 1986 in Cluj-Napoca) is a retired Romanian artistic gymnast. She is an Olympic gold medalist with the team and a world silver medalist on beam and with the team. Natalia Ziganshina
Natalia Kamilovna Ziganshina (russian: Наталья Камиловна Зиганшина; born 24 December 1985), is a Russian former gymnast. She won a bronze medal in the team event at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Personal life Ziganshina was born 24 December 1985 in Saint Petersburg. Her father is a Tatar. Her younger sister, Gulnara, also competed in gymnastics, appearing at the 2002 Junior European Championships in Patras. Career Ziganshina was a member of Russia's gold-medal team at the 2000 Junior European Championships. She won the all-around silver and silver with the Russian team at the 2001 World Championships in Ghent, Belgium. Carlos Arthur Nuzman
Carlos Arthur Nuzman (born 17 March 1942) is a Brazilian lawyer and former volleyball player, having competed professionally from 1957 to 1972 and represented the national team between 1962 and 1968. Nuzman was part of the first Brazilian male volleyball team at the 1964 Summer Olympics, when the sport debuted at the Olympic Games. He later became an administrator, with the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC). He was the leader of the Rio de Janeiro bid for the 2016 Summer Olympics and was subsequently appointed head of the Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Rio 2016 (Rio 2016). Gymnastics At The 2004 Summer Olympics
At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, three disciplines of gymnastics were contested: artistic gymnastics (August 14–23), rhythmic gymnastics (August 26–29) and trampoline (August 20–21).
