Takashi Nomura
Takashi Nomura (野村孝) (February 18, 1927 – May 5, 2015) was a Japanese film director for studios including Nikkatsu. The Criterion Collection described him as a "prominent, stylistically daring director". In 1955, he joined Nikkatsu Film company and he made his director debut with ''Tokusōhan Gogō'' in 1960. Nomura directed such films as ''Itsudemo Yume wo'' and ''Quick Draw Joe'' (1961). Career Following his older brother, Jo Shishido, Gō joined the Nikkatsu studio in 1960 and made his film debut in ''The Warped Ones''. He often played villains on both film and television. Hideki Takahashi
is a Japanese actor. Born in Kisarazu, Chiba near Tokyo, he attended Ichikawa Gakuen and later Nihon University. Career Takahashi made his debut with Nikkatsu and acted in youth-oriented films. Takahashi made film debut with ''Kōgenji'' directed by Buichi Saitō in 1961. In 1963, he starred in the yakuza film ''The Symbol of a Man '' directed by Akinori Matsuo and won populality. Under exclusive contract with Nikkatsu, his notable films are ''Fighting Elegy'' and ''Tattooed Life''. In 1971, Takahashi left Nikkatsu and became a freelance actor.
