Mohe Gulian Airport is an airport serving Mohe County in Heilongjiang Province, China. It is the northernmost airport in China and the first Chinese airport built on permafrost Permafrost is ground that continuously remains below 0 °C (32 °F) for two or more years, located on land or under the ocean. Mohe () is a county-level city in Daxing'anling Prefecture, Heilongjiang province. It is the northernmost city in China. Administrative divisions Mohe City is divided into 6 towns: Geography Mohe is located in the far northwest of Heilongjiang at latitude 52° 10'−53° 33' N and 121° 07'−124° 20' E. Jiagedaqi Airport
Jiagedaqi Airport () is a civil and forestry airport serving Jiagedaqi District, Heilongjiang Province, China. It was first built in 1970 for fighting forest fires in the nearby Greater Khingan Mountains. Construction to expand the airport was started in September 2009 and completed by the end of 2011, with a total investment of 368 million yuan. The airport was opened to commercial flights on June 19, 2012. It will continue to be used mainly for the forestry industry, with limited commercial flights.
