Typhoon (rapper)
Glenn de Randamie (born 6 August 1984), better known by his stage name Typhoon, is a Dutch rapper. He is signed to Dutch hip-hop record label Top Notch. Biography Typhoon was born and raised in the Dutch town of 't Harde. Inspired by his brother Blaxtar, Typhoon started writing at the age of 12 and as a rap artist with the group Rudeteenz, which he joined in when he was 15. It consisted of him, Blaxtar and the well-known Dutch hip-hop formation Opgezwolle. He made some guest appearances for Opgezwolle before winning ''Grote Prijs'', the biggest hip-hop prize in the Netherlands. In the same year he got his VWO diploma at Carolus Clusius College in Zwolle. After winning ''Grote Prijs'', Typhoon signed to the record label Top Notch. Ferry Corsten (; born 4 December 1973) is a Dutch disc jockey, record producer and remixer from Rotterdam. He is well known for producing many pioneering trance tracks during the 1990s–2000s under his numerous aliases, including System F, Moonman, Pulp Victim and Gouryella. Eefje de Visser (born 8 February 1986) is a Dutch singer-songwriter. She won the Grote Prijs van Nederland, a national competition for musicians, in 2009. She released her first album, ''De Koek'', in 2011, a breakthrough year in which she performed (accompanied by a four-man band called Most Unpleasant Men) at three major Dutch festivals: the Oerol Festival, Lowlands, and the Uitmarkt. Roosbeef is a Dutch band from Duiven around singer-songwriter Roos Rebergen. They are acclaimed for their original lyrics and musical style. Renée van Dongen, professionally known as Charlie Dée (born 1977), is a Dutch singer-songwriter from Rotterdam. She won De Grote Prijs van Nederland in 2004 and released her debut album ''Where Do Girls Come From'' in 2006 and a year later ''Love Your Life'' followed. A Balladeer (styled as a balladeer) is a Dutch band, originating from Amsterdam, founded by singer-songwriter Marinus de Goederen. In 2002, the band won the 3FM BuZz Award and another award the following year at the final of the annual Dutch musical contest ''De Grote Prijs van Nederland'' (The Big Prize of the Netherlands). Marike Jager
Marike Jager (born 4 February 1979 in Amersfoort) is a Dutch singer-songwriter, guitarist and television presenter. She grew up in Leusden and learned to play the guitar while backpacking through Australia, New Zealand, Asia and South Africa. There she wrote her first song 'Lizzy'. Face Tomorrow
Face Tomorrow is a Dutch indie rock band. It was formed in 1997, and consists of lead singer Jelle Schrooten, guitarists Aart Steekelenburg and Marc Nolte, bass player Tijs Hop, and drummer Sjoerd van der Knoop. In 2010 Nolte left and was replaced by Ralf Mastwijk. Face Tomorrow first released an EP called ''Live the Dream'' in 2001, but became one of the leading Dutch underground bands after the release of their first album ''For Who You Are'' in 2002. D-Men
D-Men was a Dutch rap formation established in 1997 under the name D-Men Squad. This was after a freestyle session they held on a basketball court in Diemen-Zuid. The original members of D-Men were rapper Lange Frans, his brother rapper Brutus and a childhood friend rapper-singer Bart Zeilstra better known as Baas B. They picked the name that sound like their home town Diemen. Many others joined in the formation, famous for its mixtapes ''De Straatremixes''.
