D-Men
D-Men was a Dutch rap formation established in 1997 under the name D-Men Squad. This was after a freestyle session they held on a basketball court in Diemen-Zuid. The original members of D-Men were rapper Lange Frans, his brother rapper Brutus and a childhood friend rapper-singer Bart Zeilstra better known as Baas B. They picked the name that sound like their home town Diemen. Many others joined in the formation, famous for its mixtapes ''De Straatremixes''. D-Men also have their own record label named D-Men Entertainment. Negativ
Maurits Robert Delchot better known by his stage name Negativ (born 8 September 1982) is a Dutch rapper, actor and radio broadcaster of Surinamese origin from Amsterdam-Oost. Negativ became part of the rap formation D-Men. He has also acted films like ''Bolletjes Blues'' and '' Complexx''. He also has his own weekly radio show where he DJs for ''Juize FM'' on Fridays. Beginnings Maurits was interested at a very young age in rap. He started rapping with a bunch of friends, including Keizer and others. He took part in fNally's band H.S.S. (Hinderlijke Straat Schoften). Soon he became known in the underground rap circuit taking part in several MC battles. One big battle faced him with Yukkie B, another rapper from Amsterdam-Oost (East Amsterdam). Lange Frans
Frans Christiaan Frederiks (born 12 November 1980), known by his stage name Lange Frans, is a Dutch rapper and television presenter. From 1997 to 2004 he was a member of the band D-Men. Between 1997 and 2009 he was part of the Lange Frans & Baas B duo before starting a solo career. In 2019 the duo reformed and made a few appearances, but in April 2021 Baas B returned with a solo album, claiming that he and Frederiks were no longer on the same page "in terms of message". Bart Zeilstra, better known by his stage name Baas B (born 10 April 1982), is a Dutch rapper and singer who was a founding member of Dutch rap formation D-Men and between 1997 and 2009, a member of the Dutch hip hop duo Lange Frans & Baas B both formed with his childhood friend Frans Frederiks better known as Lange Frans. Thijs Frederiks, better known by his stage name Brutus, (born in Amsterdam on 23 April 1983) is a Dutch rapper originating from Diemen, Netherlands. Alongside his older brother Lange Frans and rapper-singer better known as Baas B was a founding member of D-Men and the band's manager. Yesser Roshdy ( arz, ياسر رشدي, ; born 2 November 1986), better known by his stage name Yes-R, is a Dutch rapper and television presenter. He was born in Amsterdam, to an Egyptian father, and a Moroccan mother. Before going solo, he was part of the Dutch hip-hop formation D-Men. Eddy Brace Rashid MacDonald (born 23 August 1986), shortened to Brace, is a Dutch singer. He is best known for his collaborations with Dutch rapper Ali B, who helped to bring Brace to stardom after their first musical collaboration on the hit single "Ik ben je zat" released in the summer of 2004. Early life Brace was born in Surabaya, Indonesia, as a child of Surinamese parents. The family moved to the Netherlands, where he was raised in Amsterdam. Ali Bouali, known professionally as Ali B (born 16 October 1981), is a Dutch-Moroccan rapper.
