Gro-Anita Mykjåland (born 4 September 1976) is a Norwegian politician. She has been a member of the Storting for Aust-Agder since 2021. She previously served as mayor of Iveland from 2011 to 2021. Storting
The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. The unicameral parliament has 169 members and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation in nineteen multi-seat constituencies. Aust-Agder (Storting Constituency)
Aust-Agder () is one of the 19 multi-member constituencies of the Storting, the national legislature of Norway. The constituency was established in 1921 following the introduction of proportional representation for elections to the Storting. It consists of the municipalities of Åmli, Arendal, Birkenes, Bygland, Bykle, Evje og Hornnes, Froland, Gjerstad, Grimstad, Iveland, Lillesand, Risør, Tvedestrand, Valle and Vegårshei in the county of Agder. The University of Agder ( no, Universitetet i Agder), formerly known as Agder College and Agder University College, is a public university with campuses in Kristiansand and Grimstad, Norway. Aust-Agder
Aust-Agder (, en, "East Agder") was a county (''fylke'') in Norway until 1 January 2020, when it was merged with Vest-Agder to form Agder county. In 2002, there were 102,945 inhabitants, which was 2.2% of Norway's population. Its area was . The county's administrative center was the town of Arendal. The county, located along the Skagerrak coast, extended from Gjernestangen at Risør to the Kvåsefjorden in Lillesand. The inner parts of the area included Setesdalsheiene and Austheiene. Ole André Myhrvold (born 10 June 1978) is a Norwegian politician and journalist for the Centre Party. He has been a member of parliament for Østfold since 2017 and previously served as the mayor of Trøgstad from 2011 to 2017. Geir Pollestad (born 13 August 1978) is a Norwegian solicitor and politician for the Centre Party. He is currently serving as the minister of agriculture and food since 2023, and has been a member of parliament for Rogaland since 2013. Early life and education Pollestad was born in Høyland in Hå, to Jone Pollestad and Marit Erga, both self-employed workers with a family company. He has one brother. Pollestad took lower secondary education in Nærbø and upper secondary education in Bryne, finishing in 1997.
