Ole André Myhrvold
Ole André Myhrvold (born 10 June 1978) is a Norwegian politician and journalist for the Centre Party. He has been a member of parliament for Østfold since 2017 and previously served as the mayor of Trøgstad from 2011 to 2017. Political career Local politics Myhrvold was mayor of Trøgstad from 2011 to 2017 and a member of the municipal council from 2007 to 2017. Parliament Myhrvold was elected to the Storting from Østfold in the 2017 election and was re-elected in 2021. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee on Energy and the Environment. In September 2023, he was appointed the party's financial spokesperson, succeeding Geir Pollestad who had entered government as minister of agriculture and food. The Storting ( ; ) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. Geir Pollestad
Geir Pollestad (born 13 August 1978) is a Norwegian solicitor and politician for the Centre Party. He served as the minister of agriculture and food from 2023 to 2025, and has been a member of parliament for Rogaland since 2013. Early life and education Pollestad was born in Høyland in Hå, to Jone Pollestad and Marit Erga, both self-employed workers with a family company. He has at least two brothers. Pollestad took lower secondary education in Nærbø and upper secondary education in Bryne, finishing in 1997. After one year at Stavanger University College he enrolled in law studies at the University of Bergen, graduating with the cand.jur. degree in 2006. During his last year of studying he was a board member of the Student Welfare Organisation in Bergen. Gro-Anita Mykjåland (born 4 September 1976) is a Norwegian politician. She has been a member of the Storting for Aust-Agder since 2021. She previously served as mayor of Iveland from 2011 to 2021. Østfold is one of the 19 multi-member constituencies of the Storting, the national legislature of Norway. The constituency was established in 1921 following the introduction of proportional representation for elections to the Storting. Parliamentary elections were held in Norway on 13 September 2021. All 169 seats in the Norwegian legislature, the Storting, were up for election. The election was won by a coalition consisting of the social-democratic Labour Party and the agrarian Centre Party that entered into negotiations to form a government. Parliamentary elections were held in Norway on 11 September 2017 to elect all 169 members of the unicameral Norwegian Parliament, the Storting.
