Grete Püvi
Grete Ayache (born 12 March 1982 in Tallinn, Estonia), born as Grete Püvi, is an Estonian dressage rider. Representing Estonia, she competed at the 2014 World Equestrian Games and at the 2011 European Dressage Championship. She placed 61st place in individual dressage at the 2011 Europeans held in Rotterdam. She retired her Grand Prix horse, Talent, from the competition in 2016. The horse had been previously ridden by Bernard Bosseaux. In 2017 she won 3rd place in the FEI World Cup Dressage Central European League Freestyle competition. Personal Grete started riding at the age of 12. She made her international debut in 2005 during the CDI in Warka, Poland. She is married to the reserve rider for the French Olympic team in 2016; Alexandre Ayache and together they have a daughter. 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games
The 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games were held in the region of Normandy, France. It was the seventh edition of the Games, which are held every four years and run by the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI). For team events in the dressage, eventing, and show jumping disciplines, these Games were the first qualifying event for the 2016 Summer Olympics. He represented France at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy where he finished 11th in team dressage and 62nd in the individual dressage competition. FEI World Equestrian Games
The FEI World Equestrian Games are the major international championships for equestrianism, and are administered by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI). The games have been held every four years, halfway between sets of consecutive Summer Olympic Games, since 1990. Prior to that year, all ten of the FEI's individual disciplines held separate championships, usually in separate countries. The modern WEG runs over two weeks and, like the Olympics, the location rotates to different parts of the world. Riders and horses competing at WEG go through a rigorous selection process, and each participating country sends teams that have distinguished themselves through competition as the nation's best in each respective discipline.
