Greenborne
''Greenborne'' is a British radio soap opera set in Greenborne, a fictional rural village. Created by Colin Brake and Andrew Mark Sewell and produced by B7 Media, the first episode of ''Greenborne'' was broadcast on 21 March 2021 and the last () on 6 June 2021. It is broadcast initially on over 30 community radiostations, such as Swindon 105.5, and Tring Radio. Synopsis The series is set in the near future, the summer of 2021, as the residents of the fictional village of Greenborne emerge from the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic. Production ''Greenborne'' was devised by Colin Brake and Andrew Mark Sewell and written by Colin Brake, Bev Doyle and Angela Churm. It features an ensemble cast headed by John Altman and Louise Jameson, known from ''EastEnders'' and Corrinne Wicks from '' Doctors'' and '' Emmerdale''. Corrinne Wicks
Corrinne Wicks (born 26 April 1968) is an English actress, notable for playing Dr. Helen Thompson in the BBC daytime soap opera ''Doctors'', from 2000 to 2005, and Ella Hart in the ITV soap opera ''Emmerdale'', from 2010 to 2011. Early life Wicks was born and raised in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Colin Brake
Colin Brake (born 1962) is an English television writer and script editor best known for his work for the BBC Television, BBC on programmes such as ''Bugs (television programme), Bugs'' and ''EastEnders''. He has also written Doctor Who spin-offs, spin-offs from the BBC series ''Doctor Who''. He lives and works in Leicester. Tameside Radio is a radio station which broadcasts to the Tameside area of Greater Manchester. The station is based in Ashton-under-Lyne and broadcasts on 103.6 FM from its transmitter at Harrop Edge in Mottram. Somer Valley FM is a local community radio station in North East Somerset that serves Midsomer Norton, Radstock, Westfield and surrounding areas. It was launched in 2008. Radio Winchcombe is an English local community radio station which broadcasts to Winchcombe and the surrounding areas. In December 2011 it was announced on the station's Twitter and Facebook pages that it had received a full-time licence from Ofcom, allowing it to broadcast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on FM to Winchcombe and the surrounding area. Link FM was a community radio station operating in Havering, east London on 92.2 FM. Its first broadcast was in 1992, with the station going on air for a couple of weeks. Every summer since then ''Link FM'' has repeated this format of short-term broadcasts. In the summer of 2005 there was no broadcast with the station deciding to go on air at Christmas instead. In 2006 it was announced that after 10 years of short-term broadcasts that ''Link FM'' had been awarded a full-time community radio licence, with the station opening permanently in April 2007. Future Radio is a local community radio station serving the city of Norwich, Norfolk. The station is part of local charity Future Projects History Future Radio began broadcasting in May 2004 with its first 28-day Restricted Service Licence (RSL).
