The Green Ecologist Party ( es, Partido Ecologista Verde, PEV) was a Chilean political party and one of South America's members of the global green movement. History It is the first Chilean ecologist political party legalized after the disappearance of The Greens (1987–2001) and Environmentalist Movement (1993–1994), the first officially affiliated with the Global Greens. It participated in the municipal elections of 2008 in an alliance («For a clean Chile») with the Independent Regionalist Party (PRI) and ChileFirst (CH1) movement. It managed to choose 1 councilor as an independent in the municipality of San Pedro de La Paz. Humanist Party (Chile)
The Humanist Party ( es, Partido Humanista) is a universal humanist, progressive, and left-wing political party in Chile, founded in 1984. The party is a member of the Humanist International. In December 1990, Laura Rodríguez became the first elected representative of any Humanist Party in the world after winning a seat as part of the ''Concertación'' coalition, after Augusto Pinochet handed over power. At the 2001 legislative elections, the party won 1.1% of the vote but no seats. For the 2005 presidential elections, the Humanist Party was a member of the coalition Juntos Podemos Más (Together We Can Do/Achieve More). Gabriel Boric Font (; born 11 February 1986) is a Chilean left-wing politician who is the 37th and current president of Chile, serving since 11 March 2022. Boric studied in the Faculty of Law at the University of Chile, and was the president of the University of Chile Student Federation from 2011 to 2012. As a student representative, he became one of the leading figures of the 2011–2013 Chilean student protests. Beatriz de Jesús Sánchez Muñoz (born 24 December 1970) is a Chilean journalist and politician. During the 1990s and 2000s, she worked as a political and current affairs journalist for radio stations in Chile, where she achieved high recognition for her activity.
