Graham W. S. Scott
Graham Wilson Shatford Scott CM QC (born November 13, 1942) is a Canadian lawyer and expert in the incorporation, amalgamation, restructuring, and governance processes of health institutions in Canada. Scott is president of Graham Scott Strategies Inc. and partner emeritus at McMillan LLP. In 1992 he was a recipient of the 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada Medal issued under the Authority of the Queen in recognition of public service. In 2005, he was appointed as a member of the Order of Canada in recognition of his volunteer service. In 2012, he was a recipient of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal. Early life and career Scott was born and raised in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. He graduated from the Rothesay Netherwood School in 1960. The Kingston General Hospital (KGH) site is an acute-care teaching hospital affiliated with Queen's University located in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Gail M. Scott (born 25 June 1943) is a Canadian television personality. She is a former co-host of ''Canada AM'' and was inducted into the Canadian Broadcast Hall of Fame in 2005. Scott graduated from Carleton University with a bachelor of journalism in 1966 and began her television career with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) at CBOT-TV in Ottawa. In 1971, she became the CBC's parliamentary correspondent. In 1972, she became the parliamentary correspondent for CTV Television Network. In 1976, Scott was the field producer and host of '' W5''. She was co-host of ''Canada AM'' from 1978 to 1981 with Norm Perry. Born in Ottawa, Scott became a part-time member of the CRTC in 1987 and was named commissioner in 1993. The Public Policy Forum (PPF) is an independent, non-profit Canadian think tank for public-private dialogue. The organization's stated aim is "to serve as a neutral, independent forum for open dialogue on public policy." The Forum was founded in 1987 by Shelly (Sheldon) Ehrenworth, Geoff Poapst and a group of public and private sector leaders.
