Govindlal Vora
Govindlal Vora (12 March 1932 – 13 May 2018) was an Indian journalist, known for his contribution to Fearless journalism, literature, education and works in various social causes. He was founder editor of Hindi daily ''Amrit Sandesh''. He also headed various trust and societies, in different fields of social welfare. He was active in journalism for 60 years in India. Early life and education Govindlal Vora was born on 12 March 1932 in Nimbi Jodha of Nagaur district, Nagaur District, Rajasthan, to Mohanlalji Vora and Ambadevi Vora. He did his bachelor's degree in arts in 1954 and received a master's degree in political sciences in 1956 from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar University, Madhya Pradesh. Nagaur District
Nagaur district is one of the 33 districts of the state of Rajasthan in western India. Panchayati Raj was introduced here. It is the fifth largest district in Rajasthan and the area of the district is . The city of Nagaur is the district headquarters. Geography Nagaur District is between 26°25' & 27°40' north latitude & 73°.10' & 75°.15' east longitude. Sino-Indian War
The Sino-Indian War took place between China and India from October to November 1962, as a major flare-up of the Sino-Indian border dispute. There had been a series of violent border skirmishes between the two countries after the 1959 Tibetan uprising, when India granted asylum to the Dalai Lama. Chinese military action grew increasingly aggressive after India rejected proposed Chinese diplomatic settlements throughout 1960–1962, with China re-commencing previously-banned "forward patrols" in Ladakh after 30 April 1962. Amidst the Cuban Missile Crisis, China abandoned all attempts towards a peaceful resolution on 20 October 1962, invading disputed territory along the border in Ladakh and across the McMahon Line in the northeastern frontier. Vidya Charan Shukla
Vidya Charan Shukla (2 August 1929 – 11 June 2013) was an Indian politician whose political career spanned six decades. He was predominantly a member of the Indian National Congress, but also had spells in Jan Morcha, Janata Dal, Samajwadi Janata Party (Rashtriya), Nationalist Congress Party and Bharatiya Janata Party. He was known as a close associate of Indira Gandhi. Personal life Shukla was born on 2 August 1929 in Raipur. His father Ravishankar Shukla was a lawyer, an Indian National Congress politician from Central Provinces and Berar and the first Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. His older brother, Shyama Charan Shukla, was also an INC politician and served as Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. He had seven other siblings.
