A minister is a politician who heads a ministry, making and implementing decisions on policies in conjunction with the other ministers. Janet Ecker
Janet Ecker (born October 18, 1953) is a former politician in Ontario, Canada. She was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1995 to 2003, and was a senior cabinet minister in the governments of Mike Harris and Ernie Eves. Thomas Leonard Wells
Thomas Leonard "Tom" Wells (May 2, 1930 – October 11, 2000) was a politician in Ontario, Canada. He served in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as a member of the Progressive Conservative Party from 1963 to 1985 and was a cabinet minister in the governments of John Robarts and William Davis. Robert Stanley Kemp Welch (July 13, 1928 – July 29, 2000) was a Canadian politician. He served in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1963 to 1985 as a member of the Progressive Conservative Party, and was a cabinet minister in the governments of John Robarts, Bill Davis and Frank Miller. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. He worked as a barrister and solicitor after his graduation, and was a member of that St. Catharines Board of Education from 1955 until 1963. Lawrence Sheldon "Larry" Grossman, (December 2, 1943 – June 22, 1997) was a politician in Ontario, Canada. Robert Fletcher Nixon (born July 17, 1928) is a Canadian retired politician in the province of Ontario, Canada. The son of former Premier of Ontario Harry Nixon, he was first elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in a 1962 by-election following his father's death. The younger Nixon was elected leader of the Ontario Liberal Party in 1967 and led them through three provincial elections, the first two where the Liberals retained their standing as the second-largest party and official opposition in the legislature.
