Got a Girl is an American musical duo formed in 2012 consisting of singer Mary Elizabeth Winstead and music producer Dan "The Automator" Nakamura. The band's first studio album, '' I Love You but I Must Drive Off This Cliff Now'', was released in 2014. History According to '' Exclaim!'', Got a Girl originated in 2010, when the pair met at a cast dinner of '' Scott Pilgrim vs. the World'' which co-starred Winstead. Nakamura had contributed music to the film, and she approached him saying she was a fan. At the film's red carpet premiere, Nakamura asked Winstead if they could "make music together". Winstead and Nakamura worked together musically on Deltron 3030's album ''Event 2'' (released 2013), which Nakamura produced and Winstead provided vocals for the songs "The Agony" and "Look Across the Sky". ''Event 2'' is the second album by hip hop supergroup Deltron 3030. The album was released on September 30, 2013. It is the group's first album since their 2000 debut, ''Deltron 3030'' and a narrative sequel. Production history Production began in 2004, but was fraught with delays. According to Kid Koala's website, he finished the turntable portions of the album in May 2006. In October 2006 Dan the Automator predicted completion by December 2006, and in November of the same year, Del told IGN that four songs were already written and that "the album's lyrical theme has been basically mapped out." The Shirelles
The Shirelles were an American girl group formed in Passaic, New Jersey in 1957. They consisted of schoolmates Shirley Owens (later Shirley Alston Reeves), Doris Coley (later Doris Kenner-Jackson), Addie "Micki" Harris (later Addie Harris McFadden), and Beverly Lee. Founded in 1957 for a talent show at their high school, they were signed by Florence Greenberg of Tiara Records. Their first single, "I Met Him on a Sunday", was released by Tiara and licensed by Decca Records in 1958. After a brief and unsuccessful period with Decca, they went with Greenberg to her newly formed company, Scepter Records. ''The Playlist'' is a British children's entertainment and music series presented by guest presenters, produced by Strawberry Blond TV for CBBC and first aired on 22 April 2017 and ended on 12 March 2022. The first series was narrated by Scott Mills.
