Goldring Centre For High Performance Sport
The Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport is a 2,000 seat indoor arena facility at the University of Toronto's main campus in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is home to the university's Varsity Blues basketball and volleyball teams. The facility was completed in the fall of 2014 at a cost $58 million, with $22.5 million coming from the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and $11 million from the Goldring family, for whom the centre has been named. The Toronto Varsity Blues is the intercollegiate sports program at the University of Toronto. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. BioSteel All-Canadian Basketball Game
The BioSteel All-Canadian Basketball Game is an annual Canadian all-star game featuring high school basketball players. It was founded in 2015 by BioSteel Sports Nutrition Inc. and Canada Basketball. Originally a boys basketball game, the event was expanded to include a girls game in 2019. The games features the top 24 male and female high school basketball players either born in Canada or playing in the country. The Canadian game has drawn comparisons to America's McDonald's All-American Game.
