''Goitaca'' ( pt, Goitacá) is a 2021 indigenous adventure drama film directed by Rodrigo Rodrigues, shot in the Atlantic Rainforest in Brazil. Premise The film tells the story between two divisive indigenous tribes during a time long past in history: the Goitaca, and an unknown tribe which embarks on a journey to find new lands in order to live peacefully. Rodrigo Rodrigues
Rodrigo Rodrigues is a Brazilian filmmaker, actor, theatre director, theatrical producer, film producer, set and costume designer, and author based in London, United Kingdom. Rodrigues developed a facial expression technique for actors that was taught in workshops at the Gaiety School of Acting and was the basis for his book ''Facial Expression for the Actor''. He created the Irish theatre group The Dublin Core and won the Irish Times Theatre Awards for best costume designer for the play ''The Trojan Women'', which used costumes made from recycled materials. Early life and education Rodrigues was born in São Paulo, Brazil, with Spanish, Portuguese and Italian origins. He was introduced to the performing arts by his mother, Terezinha Benatti, at age seven and began to regularly perform at the school theatre by eleven years old. The BFI London Film Festival is an annual film festival founded in 1957 and held in the United Kingdom, running for two weeks in October with co-operation from the British Film Institute. It screens more than 300 films, documentaries and shorts from approximately 50 countries. The LA Film Festival was an annual film festival that was held in Los Angeles, California, and usually took place in June. It showcased independent, international, feature, documentary and short films, as well as web series, music videos, episodic television and panel conversations. Tarapoto is a commercial hub town in the San Martín Province of the Department of San Martín of northern Peru. It is an hour by plane from Lima, in the high jungle plateau to the east of what is known as the ''selva baja'' (low jungle).
