Goemon Mononoke Sugoroku
is a video game for the Nintendo 64, released by Konami in 1999. It is the third ''Ganbare Goemon'' game released for the Nintendo 64, and the only one of the three to not be released outside of Japan. The game is based on the Japanese board game Sugoroku, with added combat and card play elements. The game is played on pre-rendered boards that resemble previous locations in the ''Ganbare Goemon'' series, and features various series mainstays as playable characters, including Goemon, Ebisumaru, Sasuke, Yae, and others. The game features Yae's new outfit that would be used in subsequent titles. is a 2.5D fighting video game created by Konami for the Nintendo 64, released in 1998. The name ''Rakugakids'' is a portmanteau of the Japanese word ''rakugaki'' (meaning "doodle") and the English word "kids", a reflection of the visual style of the game, which resembled children's drawings. Gameplay The game is similar in play to a toned-down ''Street Fighter''. The button layout is the six-button fighting game standard consisting primarily of three punches and three kicks, which combine with various directional commands to produce special secondary moves. All characters have a single-button attack that sends the opponent into the air, where they can be pursued and aerially attacked. The list of Nintendo 64 games includes licensed releases spanning from the platform's launch in 1996 to the final release in 2002. The Nintendo 64 home video game console's library of games were primarily released in a plastic ROM cartridge called the Game Pak. (literally 'double six') refers to two different forms of a Japanese board game: ''ban-sugoroku'' (盤双六, 'board-sugoroku') which is similar to western tables games like Backgammon, and ''e-sugoroku'' (絵双六, 'picture-sugoroku') which is similar to western Snakes and Ladders. Ban-sugoroku ''Ban-sugoroku'' is played in a similar way to western tables games. It has the same starting position as Backgammon, but the aim and rules of play are different.
