Giza Studio
is a Japanese record label. The Giza Studio started as an indie label in the late 1990s under the name Garage Indies Zapping Association, but soon Being Inc. bought it as their sister label company. Giza Studio is located in Osaka, Japan and has been producing successful artists such as Mai Kuraki, Garnet Crow, Rina Aiuchi, etc. since their commercial service on September 1, 1998. Along with other Being Group's sister labels (Zain Records, Rooms Records, B-Gram Records, BMFC, Vermillion Records and Northern Music), the studio's main task is to create music productivity by hiring talented artists, composers and engineers. The label's creative design (such as CD-jacket, photography, cinematography) is handled by Mod's House, while J-Disc is in charge of all the distribution and promotion of the sales. Being Inc
Being Incorporated, d.b.a. Being Giza Group, is a Japanese private entertainment conglomerate based in Tokyo's Roppongi district, founded on November 1, 1978 by musician Daiko Nagato. Being Inc. and its subsidiaries are the main supplier of theme music for the anime series ''Detective Conan''. As of May 2011, 77 theme tunes have been supplied to the anime by Being Inc. Sweet Velvet
Sweet Velvet was a Japanese pop band under Giza Studio label, formed in 1998 and disbanded in 2001. Biography In 1998, the band formation began. As inspiration for music production they used French pop from the '60s. The band title Sweet Velvet came from the idea of their vocalist Mizuki having velvety voice. In 1999, along with bands New Cinema Tokage and Grass Arcade they debuted on 10 February as "Number One Artists" () on newly created Giza Studio label by distributors Being Inc. Their debut major single, ''I Just Feel So Love Again ~Soba ni Iru Dake de~'' was released in double formats: 8 cm and 12 cm maxi single. Grass Arcade is a Japanese rock-band under the Giza Studio label and were active in 1998/1999. Their management office was Ading. History The band was formed in 1998, when Seri Kamimine and Keishi Sanada were high school classmates. Later on in the summer of 1998, Kouji Ueno joined and the three then performed together, live on the streets. Dps is a Japanese rock band under the Giza Studio label. History In May 2016, Naoki participated in Zard's live tour session "25th Anniversary Live" as a guitarist. DVD footage was released on December. Marie Ueda
is a Japanese singer and songwriter under Giza Studio label. Biography At the age of 5 or 6, Ueda dreamed to become a singer one day. During elementary school she tried out in various auditions at singing contests. In 2003, at 12, she sang Yo Hitoto's "Morai Naki" at the Jaccom music festival and won the contest. When she attended middle school, she was scouted by a Fukuoka talent agency, but she rejected the offer. Then she tried out at a Giza Studio audition in her 3rd year of middle school and won. 2008–2013: Indie career In spring of 2007, after graduating from junior high school, Ueda went to live alone in Osaka and started music activities such as live performances and songwriting.
