Giuliana Amici
Giuliana Amici (24 February 1952) is a former Italian javelin thrower, later became masters athlete. Biography Giuliana Amici won nine (consecutive years from 1970 to 1978) national championships at senior level. She also competed at the 1974 European Championships and 1978 European Championships. After her senior career she did not abandon the competitive sport, so to continue in the masters athletics and won the gold medal at the 2007 World Masters Championships held in Riccione. Fausta Quintavalla (born 4 May 1959 in Montechiarugolo, Parma) is a former javelin thrower from Italy. She won three medals, at senior level, at the International athletics competitions. Biography Quintavalla set her personal best in 1983, throwing 67.20 metres. She competed for her native country twice at the Summer Olympics (1980 and 1984). Her best Olympic finish was the twelfth place in Moscow, USSR (1980). She has 41 caps in national team from 1976 to 1991. The Italian Athletics Championships ( it, Campionati italiani assoluti di atletica leggera) are the national championships in athletics, organised every year by the Federazione Italiana di Atletica Leggera. The first edition, four races only, was held in 1906 at Arena Civica in Milan, just after the foundation of the Federazione Podistica Italiana and with the organization of ''La Gazzetta dello Sport''. Since then, 110 editions were held with the only exceptions of the years 1915-1918 and 1944. During 1945, only athletes of Northern Italy could participate but FIDAL considered this edition as an official one. To the running races, in 1913 the field events were added. Cesenatico ( rgn, Ziznàtic) is a port town with about 26,000 inhabitants on the Adriatic coast of Italy. It is located in the province of Forlì-Cesena in the region of Emilia-Romagna, about south of Ravenna. Ravenna
Ravenna ( , , also ; rgn, Ravèna) is the capital city of the Province of Ravenna, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy.
