Gil MacDougall
Gil MacDougall (1942-2012) was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s. He played for Western Suburbs and Balmain in the NSWRL competition, as a . MacDougall was the father of rugby league players Adam MacDougall, Luke MacDougall and Ben MacDougall. Early life MacDougall was born and raised in Sydney and played his junior rugby league in the Balmain area before being graded by Balmain in 1961. Playing career MacDougall made his debut for Balmain in 1961 and scored 4 tries for the club as they finished third on the table. Balmain made it to the preliminary final against Western Suburbs but lost the match 7-5 with MacDougall scoring a try in the game. In 1962, MacDougall joined Western Suburbs and in his first year played in the 1962 grand final against St George who were looking at winning their 6th premiership in a row. Arthur Summons
Arthur James Summons (13 December 1935 – 16 May 2020) was an Australian representative rugby union and rugby league player, a dual-code rugby international fly-half or five-eighth. He captained the Australian national rugby league team in five undefeated test matches from 1962 until 1964 and later also coached the side. Schoolboy representative Summons was educated at the publicly funded selective Homebush Boys High School where he captained the school's first grade rugby union side. Norman Douglas Somerville Provan (18 December 1932 – 13 October 2021) was an Australian professional rugby league footballer and coach. Also nicknamed "Sticks", he was a second-row forward with the St George Dragons during the first ten of their eleven consecutive premiership-winning years, from 1956 to 1966. Named amongst the nation's finest footballers of the 20th century, he was a representative in the Australia national team from 1954 to 1960, earning 14 Tests and two World Cups. Ben MacDougall (born 25 May 1977) is a former professional rugby footballer of the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. After playing rugby league in Australia for the Western Suburbs Magpies, Newcastle Knights, Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and Melbourne Storm, he started playing rugby union in the United Kingdom, and represented Scotland internationally.
