Giannis Michailidis
Giannis Michailidis ( el, Γιάννης Μιχαηλίδης; born 18 February 2000) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Super League club PAOK and the Greece national team. Club career Early career Born on February 18, 2000, he became a member of the Giannitsa Sports Academy, moving through all the age level groups until he was 16, when he joined PAOK. Relatively “old” for the PAOK Academy at that stage, he showed impressively good prospects for PAOK not to try and «exploit» them. From Giannitsa to Thessaloniki then, and from his family home to PAOK Academy house. The transition was di cult at rst, as he admitted, mainly due to the intensive training and attending school at the same time. However, this did not a ect his performance on the pitch at all. Giannitsa ( el, Γιαννιτσά , in English also Yannitsa, Yenitsa) is the largest city in the regional unit of Pella and the capital of the Pella municipality, in the region of Central Macedonia in northern Greece. The municipal unit Giannitsa has an area of 208.105 km2. Its population is 31,983 people (2011 census). It includes a few outlying villages (Mesiano, Melissi, Pentaplatanos, Archontiko, Ampelies and Damiano). The municipality Pella as a whole includes many villages and has 63,122 inhabitants. The city is located in the center of Macedonia between Mount Paiko and the plain of Giannitsa, and is the economic, commercial and industrial center of the Pella regional unit. 2020–21 Greek Football Cup
The 2020–21 Greek Football Cup was the 79th edition of the Greek Football Cup. It took place with the participation of the 14 clubs from the Super League 1, as there was no competitive action in the lower divisions (Super League 2, Football League and Gamma Ethniki) until early January due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The HFF decided that the Cup would be held with the participation of teams only from the top-flight Super League, which was normally in progress. The Greek Football Cup ( el, Κύπελλο Ελλάδος Ποδοσφαίρου), commonly known as the Greek Cup or Kypello Elladas is a Greek football competition, run by the Hellenic Football Federation. 2022–23 Super League Greece 2
The 2022–23 Super League 2, known as Super League 2 betsson for sponsorship reasons, is the fourth season of the Super League 2, the second-tier Greek professional league for association football clubs, since the restructuring of the Greek football league system. The season is set to start on 4 November 2022 and will finish on 20 June 2023. The league will be conducted of 30 teams and two groups, this is due to the restructure and abolishment of the Football League.
