Georgie Boyce
Georgie Eva Burton Boyce (born 4 October 1998) is an English cricketer who currently plays for The Blaze and Northern Superchargers. She plays as a right-handed batter. She has previously played for Nottinghamshire, Lancashire, Lancashire Thunder, North West Thunder and Manchester Originals. Early life Boyce was born on 4 October 1998 in Nottingham. Domestic career Boyce made her county debut in 2013, for Nottinghamshire against Staffordshire. She did not bat or bowl. She played three matches that season before becoming more of a regular in the next, and she hit her maiden half-century in 2014, scoring 50 * in a successful chase against Yorkshire. In 2016, Nottinghamshire were promoted from Division 2 of the County Championship, with Boyce ending the season as the sides third-highest run-scorer. The Yorkshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Yorkshire. They play their home games at St George's Road, Harrogate, and are captained by Hollie Armitage. In 2019, they played in Division One of the final season of the Women's County Championship, and have since competed in the Women's Twenty20 Cup. Southern Vipers
The Southern Vipers are a women's cricket team that represent the South of England. The Vipers wear an orange and black kit and play their home matches at the Ageas Bowl and the County Cricket Ground, Hove. They are currently coached by former England Women's captain and former player Charlotte Edwards. The Southern Vipers are partnered with Hampshire, Sussex, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Dorset, Oxfordshire and the Isle of Wight Cricket Board. The 2019 Women's Cricket Super League, or 2019 Kia Super League for sponsorship reasons, was the fourth and final season of the Women's Cricket Super League (WCSL), the semi-professional women's cricket competition in England and Wales. The competition, run by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), consisted of six franchise teams playing in a Twenty20 format. The tournament was scheduled to be replaced by the Women's Hundred and a new regional domestic structure from the next season, although the full implementation of this was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Women's Cricket Super League
The Women's Cricket Super League (WCSL), known as the Kia Super League (KSL) for sponsorship reasons, was a semi-professional women's Twenty20 cricket competition in England and Wales operated by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). The competition featured six franchise teams, partnered with a variety of county teams and boards and universities, and was envisaged as a means to bridge the gap between amateur domestic cricket and the increasingly professional international game. The WCSL launched in 2016, with each team playing five group stage matches in a round-robin format, followed by a finals day; this was increased to ten group matches in 2018, following the ECB abandoning their initial plans to expand the tournament by also incorporating a 50-over competition. The 2022 Women's Twenty20 Cup, known for sponsorship reasons as the 2022 Vitality Women's County T20, was the 13th edition of the Women's Twenty20 Cup, an English women's cricket Twenty20 domestic competition. It took place in April and May 2022, with 35 teams taking part, organised into eight regional groups. There was no overall winner, with Lancashire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Suffolk, Leicestershire and Rutland, Sussex, Middlesex and Devon winning their individual groups. North East Warriors
North East Warriors is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic counties of County Durham and Northumberland. They play their home matches at grounds across the two counties, including Stocksfield Cricket Club Ground, Stocksfield and Manor Road, Willington. They are captained by Laura Ellison. The team was formed ahead of the 2020 season, with Durham and Northumberland deciding to merge at both youth and senior levels in order to provide a "united high performance pathway" for the region. It ran from late April to the beginning of June and saw 32 county teams and teams representing Scotland, Wales and the Netherlands compete in a series of divisions.
