George Fisher (actor)
George Fisher (August 10, 1891 – August 13, 1960) was an American film actor of the silent era. He appeared in more than 70 films between 1911 and 1929. His role in the 1916 Thomas H. Ince film ''Civilization'' is noteworthy as the first cinematic depiction of Jesus. ''Annie-for-Spite'' is a 1917 silent film directed by James Kirkwood and starring Mary Miles Minter. The film is based upon the 1916 short story ''Annie for Spite'' by Frederick J. Jackson. As with many of Minter's features, it is thought to be a lost film.
