Anna Gare
Anna Gare is an Australian musician, cook, television personality and author. Biography Gare was born 10 March 1969 in Subiaco, Western Australia and grew up in Fremantle, Western Australia, Fremantle. She attended the Lance Holt School, where as a student she ran a Cafeteria, canteen for students and staff. Musician Gare started off her career as a musician when she was twelve when she formed an all-female band with her sister Sophie and two friends, Jodie Bell and Lucy Lemann, called the Jam Tarts. The band was managed by their mother, Kate Gare. For ten years the Jam Tarts were a successful touring and recording band within Australia and performed at international music festivals. They performed live on NBC's ''Today (NBC program), Today Show'', at the 1987 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and toured with Rik Mayall and Jonathan Richman. Arran Emrys Gare (; born 1948) is an Australian philosopher known mainly for his work in environmental philosophy, philosophy of science, philosophy of culture and the metaphysics of process philosophy. He currently holds the position of Associate Professor in the Faculty of Life and Social Sciences at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. Danny Gare
Daniel Mirl Gare (born May 14, 1954) is a Canadian broadcaster, ice hockey coach and former National Hockey League (NHL) player, most notably of the Buffalo Sabres. During a 13-year professional career, Gare also played for the Detroit Red Wings and Edmonton Oilers. He was a two-time All-Star right winger who twice scored 50 goals in a season for the Sabres. He was known for his quick wrist shot and status as a small, yet scrappy and fearless player. Playing career Gare played for the WCJHL's Calgary Centennials from 1971 to 1974. In his final season with the team, he had 127 points. Gare was selected by the Buffalo Sabres with the 29th pick of the 1974 NHL amateur draft. Josh Gare (born 20 September 1992) is an English computer programmer and internet entrepreneur. He is best known for facilitating the Emoji keyboard outside of Japan on iOS, which is a keyboard that can be used to send messages with emoticons. He studied Economics at the University of Bristol. During his time in Bristol he was named as "Bristol's best budding entrepreneur" by Epigram (newspaper). Personal life Gare was born in Ascot, Berkshire, England in 1992 to Anthony Gare and Wendy Gare. Nene Gare (9 May 191929 May 1994) was an Australian writer and artist, best known as the author of the novel ''The Fringe Dwellers'' (1961), which was made into the 1986 Australian film of the same name directed by Bruce Beresford. Personal life Gare was born Doris Violet May Wadham in 1919 in Adelaide, South Australia. Her parents John Henry Wadham, a saddler and harness maker, and Mary Hounslow Wadham, were strict Methodists. Gare attended Adelaide School of Art and then Perth Technical College, returning to Adelaide to work as a typist from 1938 to 1939. In 1941, she married Perth-based public servant Frank Ellis Gare, who then left to serve on the Queen Mary during World War II.
