Galileo Chrome (foaled 28 April 2017) is an Irish Thoroughbred racehorse. He finished unplaced on his only start as a juvenile in 2019 but made rapid improvement in the following year, winning his first four races including the Yeats Stakes and the St Leger Stakes Background Galileo Chrome is a bay horse with no white markings bred in Ireland by his owner Mohamed Ali Meddeb. As a yearling he was put up for auction at the Goffs Orby sale but failed to reach his reserve price. He was sent into training with Joseph Patrick O'Brien at Owning Hill, County Kilkenny. He was from the second crop of foals sired by Australia who won the Epsom Derby, Irish Derby and International Stakes in 2014. Galileo Chrome's dam Curious Mind showed little ability on the track, winning on her debut but finishing last in her only other start. Yesterday (foaled 27 February 2000) was an Irish Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. She showed considerable promise as a two-year-old in 2002, winning a maiden race and being placed in the Debutante Stakes and the Rockfel Stakes before taking the Eyrefield Stakes. In the following spring she won the Irish 1000 Guineas and appeared an unlucky loser when narrowly beaten in The Oaks. She failed to win again but finished placed in the Prix Vermeille, Prix de l'Opéra and the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf. Shane Crosse (born 21 September 2001) is an Irish jockey who competes in flat racing. Background Crosse comes from Cahir in County Tipperary in Ireland. His father Matt Crosse is a former jump jockey and brother Nathan Crosse is a flat-racing jockey. Crosse took part in pony racing and became an apprentice jockey at the yard of trainer Joseph O'Brien while he was still at school. Leopardstown Racecourse
Leopardstown Racecourse is an Irish horse-racing venue, located in Leopardstown, Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, 8 km south of the Dublin city centre.
