Gabriele Rossetti (born 7 March 1995) is an Italian shooter, the son of the Olympic medalist Bruno Rossetti. The Mediterranean Games is a multi-sport event organised by the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (CIJM). It is held every four years among athletes from countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea in Africa, Asia and Europe. The first Mediterranean Games were held in 1951 in Alexandria, Egypt, while the most recent games were held in 2022 in Oran, Algeria. European Shooting Championships
The European Shooting Championships are the global sport shooting European championships as regards the disciplines of the sport shooting of the rifle (25, 50 and 300 m) and the pistol (25 and 50 m). Sometimes the competition also includes trap shooting, skeet and running target shooting events, usually organized in special championships. The championships are by the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) in collaboration with the European Shooting Confederation (ESC). The first edition of the championships took place in 1955 in Bucharest. It takes place biennially, but every year 2-4 special championships held for European countries in separate shooting disciplines. In reaction to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the European Shooting Confederation stripped Russia of its right to host the 2022 European Shooting Championships in the 25m, 50m, 300m, running target and shotgun.
