She won the Miss Carabobo 2008 title in a state pageant held in Valencia, Venezuela on 13 June 2008. Concepción represented Venezuela in the Top Model of The World 2010 pageant, in Dortmund (Germany), on February 21, 2010, where she placed as the 1st runner up. She also represented Venezuela in Miss Continente Americano 2010 on September 18, 2010, in Guayaquil, Ecuador; and placed in the 6 finalists. Puerto Cabello () is a city on the north coast of Venezuela. It is located in Carabobo State, about 210 km west of Caracas. As of 2011, the city had a population of around 182,400.
