Gabby Thomas is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Emmerdale''. She made her first appearance on 25 December 2001. Rosie Elizabeth Bentham (born 29 July 2001) is an English actress, who has appeared as Gabby Thomas in ''Emmerdale'' since January 2016. Early and personal life Bentham was born in 2001 to John and Marianne Bentham, who acted as her chaperones whilst filming. Her father John, who was chaplain of the University of Nottingham, died on 6 August 2019 from a pulmonary embolism. Bentham attended The Nottingham Emmanuel School. Jasmine Thomas is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Emmerdale'', played by Jenna-Louise Coleman. She made her first screen appearance in the episode broadcast on 30 June 2005 and her last appearance on 26 March 2009. Casting Roxanne Pallett originally auditioned for the role of Jasmine, however, it was Coleman who was eventually cast.
