Göteborgsalliansen
''Göteborgsalliansen'' is a football alliance created in 1921 by the three Gothenburg-clubs GAIS, IFK Göteborg and Örgryte IS. The clubs were dominating Swedish football at the time and got together to arrange big international games with the best players from each team. Carl Linde became its first chairman. The most notable games were against the Swedish national team in the opening game of the new Gothenburg-stadium Ullevi in 1958, which ended 2–2, and against Real Madrid in front of 47,214 in the attendance. For its 50th anniversary 1971 they invited the Russian Olympic football team, a game in which Eusébio played for Göteborgsalliansen. IFK Göteborg
Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna Göteborg (officially IFK Göteborg Fotboll), commonly known as IFK Göteborg, IFK (especially locally) or simply Göteborg, is a Swedish professional football club based in Gothenburg. Founded in 1904, it is the only club in the Nordic countries that has won one of the main UEFA competitions, having won the UEFA Cup in both 1982 and 1987. IFK is affiliated with Göteborgs Fotbollförbund and play their home games at Gamla Ullevi. Carl Linde (football Manager)
Carl "Ceve" Linde (4 April 1890 – 13 April 1952) was a Swedish football player, manager, administrator and pioneer. He was also involved in Swedish sports in general, and was a prominent sports journalist. He played for IFK Uddevalla and IFK Göteborg during his short playing career. Linde was more successful as a sports manager and administrator, both for IFK Göteborg and the national team. He played a big part in various roles for the national team and the Swedish Football Association, for which he was inducted into the Swedish Football Hall of Fame. Ullevi
Ullevi, sometimes known as Nya Ullevi (, ''New Ullevi''), is a multi-purpose stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was built for the 1958 FIFA World Cup, but since then has also hosted the World Allround Speed Skating Championships six times; the 1995 World Championships in Athletics and the 2006 European Athletics Championships; the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup finals in 1983 and 1990; the UEFA Euro 1992 final, the UEFA Cup final in 2004; and annually hosted the opening ceremony of the Gothia Cup, the world's largest football tournament in terms of the number of participants. Gamla Ullevi
Gamla Ullevi () is a football stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden, that opened on 5 April 2009. The stadium replaced the city's previous main football stadium, also called Gamla Ullevi, and is the home ground of GAIS, IFK Göteborg and Örgryte IS. It is also the national stadium for the Sweden women's national football team. The new stadium was built on the ground of the now-demolished old stadium. The construction of the stadium was surrounded by controversy, regarding the cost of the project, the alleged low standard of the finished stadium, as well as its name. Örgryte Idrottssällskap, commonly referred to as Örgryte IS, Örgryte () or (especially locally) ÖIS or Öis, is a Swedish sports club based in Gothenburg. Eusébio da Silva Ferreira (; 25 January 1942 – 5 January 2014), nicknamed the "Black Panther", the "Black Pearl" or "O Rei" ("The King"), was a Portuguese footballer who played as a striker.
