Finspång
Finspång () is a locality and the seat of Finspång Municipality, Östergötland County, Sweden with 12,440 inhabitants in 2010. Overview Finspång is a traditional industrial town. The first industries were established in 1580 when a Royal factory for cannon and cannon balls was chartered. The industry was to continue for 300 years under supervision of the Walloon/Dutch family De Geer. Anders Qvarfordt was employed by Count Louis de Geer. His assignment was "to lodge and feed the Count de Geers Vallon blacksmiths". Finspång Castle was built by Louis De Geer (1622–1695), and around it industries and an orangery developed into the town of Finspång. In the late 19th century Bofors steel works, which initially supplied forgings and castings to the factory, started to expand into the weapons business. Lotta Engberg
Anna Charlotte "Lotta" Engberg (born Pedersen; 5 March 1963) is a Swedish singer. She represented Sweden in Eurovision Song Contest 1987 with " Boogaloo" after winning Melodifestivalen 1987. She also tried many times in Melodifestivalen in 1984, 1988, 1990, 1996, 2002 and 2012. She was also a singer in a number of formations including " Trioala" early on, and in dansbands Lotta & Anders Engbergs orkester from 1989 to 1994, and after her divorce from Anders Engberg, in dansband Lotta Engbergs from 1994 until 2002. She continues now as a solo artist. On 2 October 1999, Sweden issued a postage stamp with her portrait. She also has a great number of collaborations including joint albums with Jarl Carlsson in 1987, Christer Sjögren and Willie Nelson, both in 2012. Robert Wells (composer)
Robert Henry Arthur Wells (born 7 April 1962) is a Swedish singer, songwriter and musician best known for the musical ', which contains elements of rock, classical and boogie-woogie. Early life and career Wells was born in Stockholm. He attended the Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm at the age of 7 in 1969 and four years later, at the age of 11, became the youngest person ever to attend the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. At the age of 16 in 1978, Wells won two major Swedish talent contests. Wells has also participated twice in Melodifestivalen. Wells was the musical director of two Swedish television shows. Wells appeared regularly on ''Så ska det låta'', the Swedish version of ''The Lyrics Board''. Wells's first musical tour was with the Leningrad Orchestra in 1991. Malmö Academy of Music (Swedish: Musikhögskolan i Malmö) is a Swedish public collage dedicated to education and research within the fields of music and music pedagogy. The school is located in Malmö in southern Sweden and belongs to the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts at Lund University. The school was founded in 1907 as a music conservatory. In 1971, it became public and changed its name to Malmö Academy of Music. Six years later, in 1977, the school became part of Lund University.
