The women's artistic gymnastics balance beam final at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics was held at the America Pavilion on 15 October. Qualification Qualification took place on 10 October. Tang Xijing from China qualified in first, followed by Ukraine's Anastasiia Bachynska and Ksenia Klimenko of Russia. Ksenia Klimenko
Ksenia Anatolyevna Klimenko (russian: Ксения Анатольевна Клименко, born 1 November 2003) is a retired Russian artistic gymnast. She is the 2018 Youth Olympics Uneven Bar Champion, the 2017 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival All-Around Champion and the 2018 European Junior all-around bronze medalist. Early life Klimenko was born in Surgut, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Russia in 2003. She currently trains at Gazprom Transgaz Surgut and represents the Ural district. Gymnastics career Junior 2016 In April Klimenko competed at the Russian National Championships as an espoir where she won gold in the all-around, on the uneven bars, and on balance beam. Emma Slevin
Emma Slevin (born 2 May 2003) is an Irish artistic gymnast. She represented Ireland at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games. She was the first Irish female gymnast to qualify for a senior all-around final at the European Championships and at the World Championships, doing both in 2021. Career Early life Emma Slevin was born on 2 May 2003 in Galway, Ireland. Junior 2016–17 Slevin competed at the 2016 Irish Championships where she placed first in the Espoir division. Giorgia Villa (born 23 February 2003) is an Italian artistic gymnast. She was a member of the historic team that won bronze at the 2019 World Championships in Stuttgart, and was part of the gold-winning team at both the 2022 Mediterranean Games and the 2022 European Championships. Individually, she is the 2018, 2020, and 2021 Italian national champion, the 2018 Youth Olympic champion, and the 2018 European junior all-around and beam champion. Additionally she was a member of the team who won bronze at the 2020 European Championships. Ada Hautala (born 14 October 2003) is a Finnish artistic gymnast. She represented Finland at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games and is the 2019 Finnish national champion. Early life Hautala was born in Liminka, Finland. She began training in gymnastics in 2010. Lisa Zimmermann (born February 13, 2003) is a German artistic gymnast who represented Germany at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games. Early life Zimmermann was born in Darmstadt in 2003. She currently trains in Chemnitz. Anastasiia Yuriivna Bachynska ( uk, Анастасія Юріївна Бачинська, born 4 August 2003) is a retired Ukrainian artistic gymnast. She is the 2019 European Games floor exercise champion, the 2021 European balance beam bronze medalist, and the 2018 Youth Olympic all-around and floor exercise bronze medalist. Tang Xijing (; born January 3, 2003) is a Chinese artistic gymnast. She is the 2019 World all-around silver medalist, matching Jiang Yuyuan at the 2010 World Championships for the highest all-around finish for a Chinese woman in World or Olympic history. She is also the 2020 Olympic silver medalist on balance beam and the 2022 Chinese national all-around champion. At the junior level she is the 2018 Youth Olympic balance beam champion and uneven bars bronze medalist. 2018 Summer Youth Olympics
The 2018 Summer Youth Olympics ( es, Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud de 2018), officially known as the III Summer Youth Olympic Games, and commonly known as Buenos Aires 2018, were an international sports, cultural, and educational event held from 6 to 18 October 2018 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
