Lisa Zimmermann (gymnast)
Lisa Zimmermann (born February 13, 2003) is a German artistic gymnast who represented Germany at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games. Early life Zimmermann was born in Darmstadt in 2003. She currently trains in Chemnitz. Gymnastics career Junior 2016–2017 In 2016 Zimmermann competed at both the German National Championships and the German Cup, where she placed sixth amongst the other thirteen year olds and nineteenth respectively. In 2017 Zimmermann competed at the German National Championships where she once again placed sixth in the all-around; however she won the silver medal on both vault and balance beam, behind Emelie Petz. 2018 In May Zimmermann competed at the German Junior National Championships where she won the bronze medal in the all-around behind Emelie Petz and Sidney Hayn. Gymnastics at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics was held from 7 to 16 October at the Parque Olímpico de la Juventud#Olympic Park, America Pavilion in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Qualification Summary Acrobatic Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) can enter a maximum of 1 team of 2 athletes. As hosts, Argentina was given a team to compete, causing a reduction to the number of teams qualified from the Americas. The remaining 11 teams were to be decided at the 2018 Acrobatics World Championships. Host Argentina declined the quota while no nation from Oceania competed. The United States declined the quota, and thus the two places were reallocated to Asia and Europe. The balance beam is a rectangular artistic gymnastics apparatus and an event performed using the apparatus. Both the apparatus and the event are sometimes simply referred to as "beam". The uneven bars or asymmetric bars is an artistic gymnastics apparatus. It is made of a steel frame. The bars are made of fiberglass with wood coating, or less commonly wood. 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held in Stuttgart, Germany from October 4–13, 2019. The championships took place at the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle, and was the third time the city of Stuttgart hosted the event following the 1989 and 2007 editions, and the fifth time Germany hosted it. As of October 2, 92 federations registered gymnasts for the event with a total of 288 men and 259 women. Sarah Voss (born 21 October 1999) is a German artistic gymnast. She represented Germany at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She is the 2019 and 2022 German all-around national champion and competed in the 2018 and 2019 World Championships. She was part of the bronze medal-winning German team at the 2022 European Championships. Personal life Voss was born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany in 1999. She currently resides in Dormagen and trains at TZ DSHS Köln. Gymnastics career 2015 Voss turned senior in 2015 and competed at the German National Championships where she placed sixth in the all-around, fifth on uneven bars, and sixth on floor exercise.
