Gwendoline Gaelle Sandrine Ramos Ruais (; born December 11, 1989) is a Filipino-French actress, model, TV presenter and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss World Philippines 2011. She represented the Philippines at the Miss World 2011 pageant in London, England and placed 1st Runner-Up. Biography Ruais was born to a French father and a Filipino mother.. She has a Business Management Honors degree from Sunderland University. Ruais has a sister who is also a beauty queen, Gwennaelle Ruais, who competed in Miss Philippines Earth 2010 and finished as the 3rd Runner-Up. Miss World Philippines 2011 was the 1st edition of the Miss World Philippines pageant under a new organization. It was held at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines on September 18, 2011. At the end of the event, Miss World 2010, Alexandra Mills crowned Gwendoline Gaelle Sandrine Ruais as the first Miss World Philippines. Helen Nicolette Henson was named as First Princess, Martha Chloe McCulley as Second Princess, Maria Paula Bianca Paz as Third Princess, and Jaysel Arrozal as Fourth Princess. Alexandria Nichole Mills (born February 26, 1992) is an American model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss World 2010 on October 30, 2010, in Sanya, China. Mills is the third woman from the United States to win Miss World. Early life Mills, a resident of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, had an interest in modeling at least as early as the eighth grade; following Mills' victory in Miss World 2010, a counselor at her middle school recalled that she had a modeling portfolio even then. The counselor also recalled her as being "very outgoing and very confident", and that Mills had demonstrated fearlessness by volunteering to sing "God Bless America" over the school intercom. Miss World 1993, the 43rd edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 27 November 1993 at the Sun City Entertainment Centre in Sun City, South Africa. Miss World 1973, the 23rd edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 23 November 1973 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, United Kingdom. 54 delegates vied for the crown won by Marjorie Wallace of United States.
