Guy Burwell
Guy Burwell (born 1965) is an illustrator and designer based in Portland, Oregon. He is primarily known for making limited edition rock concert posters. Despite the fact that rock posters are a predominantly American art form, Burwell's work is also highly appreciated and collected in Europe. Burwell's art has been featured in numerous articles, as well as in the definitive books of the genre such as ''Gig Posters Vol. 1: Rock Show Art of the 21st Century'' by Clay Hayes and ''Art of Modern Rock: The Poster Explosion'' by Paul Grushkin and Dennis King. Guy Burwell also contributed art for the cover of Germany's ''Low Magazine'', Vol. 6 of June 2010 and has been featured in ''Voice Magazines 11th volume dedicated to Rock Art. He headlined the Röckaholics II Rock Art Show in Zurich, Switzerland alongside other famous gig poster artists and created the official show poster. Jet was an Australian rock band, formed in Melbourne, Victoria in 2001. For most of the band's tenure, it consisted of lead guitarist and vocalist Cameron Muncey, bassist Mark Wilson, and brothers Nic (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Chris Cester (drums, vocals). Nine Inch Nails, commonly abbreviated as NIN and stylized as NIИ, is an American industrial rock band formed in Cleveland in 1988. Faith No More
Faith No More is an American rock band from San Francisco, California, formed in 1979. Before settling on the current name in July 1983, the band performed under the names Sharp Young Men and later Faith No Man. Bassist Billy Gould, keyboardist/rhythm guitarist Roddy Bottum and drummer Mike Bordin are the longest-remaining members of the band, having been involved since its inception. The band underwent several early lineup changes, and some major changes later. Magnapop
Magnapop is an American rock band based in Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in 1989, the band has consistently included songwriting duo Linda Hopper as vocalist and Ruthie Morris on guitar. Magnapop first achieved recognition in the Benelux countries of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg through the festival circuit and have remained popular in Europe throughout their career. Melvins (sometimes The Melvins) are an American rock band formed in 1983 in Montesano, Washington. Their early work was key to the development of both grunge and sludge metal. Pernice Brothers are an American indie rock band. Formed by Joe Pernice in 1998 after the breakup of his old band, the Scud Mountain Boys, and including Joe's brother Bob Pernice, the band recorded their first album, '' Overcome by Happiness'', for Sub Pop in 1998.
