Gustavo Tiberti
Gustavo Tiberti (born 11 December 1959) is a former professional tennis player from Argentina. Career Tiberti defeated American qualifier Charles Strode in the opening round of the 1982 French Open. In the second round he met Damir Keretić, who he had beaten two weeks earlier in Florence, but on this occasion proved too strong for Tiberti in a five setter. At the 1983 French Open he again faced Keretic, this time in a first round match, which he lost in four sets. On tour he had his best ever showing in 1982, at the Swedish Open, where he reached the semi-finals with wins over Thierry Tulasne, Jonathan Smith and Carl-Axel Hageskog. Carlos Gattiker
Carlos Gattiker (6 June 1956 – 19 May 2010) was a professional tennis player from Argentina. Career Gattiker made four Grand Prix doubles semi-finals during his career, at Buenos Aires in 1977, Indianapolis in 1980, Kitzbuhel in 1981 and Bahia in 1983. His partner in Kitzbuhel was his brother Alejandro Gattiker. He also partnered his brother at Grand Slam level. One of their three Grand Slam appearances together was at the 1980 Wimbledon Championships, where they lost a five-set match to another pair of brothers, John and Tony Lloyd. Gattiker played in five further Grand Slam tournaments, as either a singles of doubles player, but was never able to progress past the first round. Horst Skoff (22 August 1968 – 7 June 2008) was a professional tennis player from Austria, who won four tournaments at the top-level. Biography Skoff was born in Klagenfurt, Austria, and started playing tennis at age 6. In 1984 he won the singles title at the 16-and-under category of the Orange Bowl. He turned professional in 1985. Skoff won his first top-level singles title in 1988 at Athens. Over the course of his career he won four top-level singles titles and two tour doubles titles. Jörgen Windahl (born 12 March 1963) is a former professional tennis player from Sweden. Career Windahl was the Boys' Singles Champion at the 1981 Australian Open, the first Swede to win the junior title. He defeated Pat Cash in the final. In Wimbledon later that year, he played in both the men's doubles and singles, but wasn't able to make it past the first round in either. He lost to Ángel Giménez in the singles and with his partner Robert Booth was defeated in five set by Scott McCain and Steve Meister in the doubles. As a singles player he reached the quarter-finals at Metz in 1986 and was a semi-finalist in Madrid the following year. The Geneva Open is an ATP Tour (formerly Grand Prix) affiliated tennis tournament that was held annually from 1980 to 1991 in Geneva, Switzerland on clay courts. In November 2014 the ATP announced that the Düsseldorf tournament would be moved to Geneva where it would be held in 2015 as a 250 tournament.
